A rare opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious and highly successful Ely-based company.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, our client is seeking an Internal Sales Specialist to join their team on a temporary - permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Undertake telephone-based sales and marketing campaigns based on overall strategy set by Country and Marketing Manager
• To gather and summarise customer information and market/competitor intelligence both by internet and telephone based research
• To project key value propositions by telephone to customers in an effective and ethical manner consistent with Company values
• To have/develop a sound understanding of the technical aspects of key Company product groups and to be able to identify and communicate their selling points
• To take responsibility for a range of key research accounts and work to add value to these along side campaign/project based activity

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and experience:

• A BSc or equivalent in Immunology / histology or experience as a Biomedical scientist within an histology laboratory
• Well developed people skills including strong written, oral communication skills and in particular, a professional and friendly telephone manner.
• A demonstrable flair for selling and/or drive to develop a strong understanding of the selling process
• Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines and targets/goals
• Good administrative skills applicable to tracking of customer information, working with multiple company information systems and recording information for reporting purposes
