Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager to project manage and launch the set up of a new café within Cambridgeshire.

With the café due to open at the beginning of March 2010, it will be the Café Manager’s job to ensure all equipment is ordered, staff are recruited and that the building is ready to be opened on time and within budget. In addition, you will have responsibility for Health & Safety and ensure that catering legislation is adhered to.

The Manager will also be involved in menu design and once the café is open be preparing light meals/snacks and serving to customers.

The person we are looking for will ideally have the following skills and experience:-

• Experience of managing/recruiting staff
• Health & Safety qualifications/awareness
• Awareness of catering laws/legislation
• Experience of setting up new premises would be advantageous
• Experience of working as a chef

Hours: 5 days per week to include Saturday & Sunday - 9am-5pm

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
