An exciting new position has arisen with a leading company based in Cambridgeshire where you will be working in the Professional Services department as an External Sales Specialist. You will be developing new business, as well as managing and growing existing accounts.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is a professional sales person, who can demonstrate over achievement within a sales role, as well as be focused on growing new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business, and develop new opportunities
- Maintain and grow accounts
- To meet profit targets on the sale of services
- Attend on-site meetings and perform web presentations to resellers and end users to promote services
- Working with partners to ensure they have all the tools necessary to realise their sales potential
- Making sure the partners are trained and motivated to sell the services and products, ensuring the partners technical teams have the correct level of knowledge, Initiate marketing campaigns
- To take responsibility for self development in both product knowledge and job competencies
- Gain a high level of trust with leading partners
Key Requirements:
- Three years sales experience ideally within a software sales or IT sales environment
- A professional sales person who can demonstrate an established career of achievement
- Self motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach
- Natural propensity to adopt a structured approach, able to manage time in the office and on the road
- Sound business acumen and ability to understand and interact with customers of all types
