A new position has just arisen with a leading software company in Cambridgeshire. As the External Sales Specialist you will be actively driving sales of a key vendor’s product line within the reseller and Systems Integrator channel.
You will be an experienced sales professional who can demonstrate consistent over achievement within a sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new business in line with agreed objectives
- Working with development resellers to ensure that they have all the tools necessary to realise their sales potential
- Ensure that partners’ Sales Teams are trained and motivated to sell the range of products – this includes assistance in delivering regular training course and seminars
- Ensure that partners’ technical teams maintain the level of knowledge required of them
- Initiating marketing campaigns for the partner to find new leads
- Working with Account Managers and Key Account Managers to maximise sales
- Gain a high level profile and trust within the partner base
Key Requirements:
- Ideally, three years experience of working in a sales role within an IT/Software environment
- A professional sales person who can demonstrate an established career of achievement within an IT sales environment
- Self motivated with a hard working and proactive approach
- Natural ability to adopt a structured approach
- Ability to learn product benefits and key technical concepts
- Sound business acumen and ability to understand and interact with customers of all types
