Due to continued growth our client are looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineers to work in their busy R&D Hardware department, working on a variety of infra-red thermal imaging related projects. 

The role would suit a candidate who wants the challenge and interest of working with a variety of technologies and are happy to read up about technology areas that aren't in their previous experience i.e. a flexible approach is demanded.  A commitment to producing 'right first time' quality products is also essential.

Duties to include:

• Feasibility studies for new products
• Circuit design
• PCB layout
• System integration type projects
• Maintenance of existing product designs
• EMC and Low Voltage product approvals, and production support

The technologies involved are also varied and include general radiometric (infrared) system design, digital design including FPGAs/CPLD's (language VHDL or Verilog), DSP and microprocessors, precision and video rate analogue design, optoelectronics, small motor control, and power supply design.

Ideally our client are looking for candidates with 'A' level grades (A or B) plus a degree in Electronics or Physics (or the equivalent). With the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of the technologies involved in your current experience.
