Job Title: Commercial Accounts Manager
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: n/a
Salary/Rate: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Job Description:

As a key member of the Commercial team, you will manage existing and potential customer relationships to increase sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. You will provide support to the Commercial & Contracts Manager to minimize commercial risk to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of interface for Customer Accounts
  • Ensure that all customer issues are managed effectively and resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the business and our customers
  • Ensure that contracts entered into by the Company are subject to acceptable conditions
  • Reviewing, re-drafting and negotiating proposed contractual conditions with customers/partners
  • Maintain the Company’s agreements and Contracts Register
  • Provide support to proposals to develop business opportunities
  • Ensure that the Company’s contractual obligations are communicated to all areas of the business
  • Ensure that the Company undertakes a contract review process
  • Be prepared to travel to support current and future products on customer sites
  • Provide proposals and quotations following the company processes
  • Liaise with Team Managers to ensure that the budget and sales forecasts are met.
  • Provide monthly rolling internal sales forecasts and order intake forecasts
  • Contribute to the company’s budget and strategic setting process

Key Requirements:

  • Well organised confident professional able to take the lead on Customer issues.
  • Can demonstrate Commercial awareness/business acumen and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify key areas in contract terms supplied by other parties that if accepted would represent a significant risk to the Company
  • Can negotiate long term supply agreements
  • Experience of Aerospace or Long Term complex contracts
  • Customer focused but with strong understanding of the impact on the business
  • Good clear presenter
  • Able to analyse market trends
  • Experience of liaising with internal and external customers
  • Plans work and delivers on time
  • Makes timely decisions within the scope of the role
  • Good application of Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role
  • Minimum 3 A levels essential with further qualifications, (degree or equivalent) desirable
