Job Description:
A major distribution and manufacturing company in Newmarket are seeking a Project Co-ordinator. A fantastic opportunity co-ordinating projects from order through sales and to order completion.
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have the following experience:
- Experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing company/industry – understanding of QC, ASTM material specifications etc
- Knowledge of AutoCAD & Adobe Acrobat.
- Working Knowledge of SAP – Order Input, Order Processing, Raising Part Numbers and Purchase Orders.
- Prepare, Manage and review all Order/Project Technical Documentation – Leasing between Suppliers, our client and the customer.
- Expediting/Shipping Knowledge and experience – Both Domestic and International.
- Prepared to travel inside and outside the UK for Kick Off Meetings, Expediting Trips and Inspections.
- Good working knowledge of Word & Excel.
- Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to manage and prioritize contracts when under pressure is essential.
- Good communication skills - customers and suppliers.
A candidate with a project or contracts background within Engineering would be preferable. A great opportunity for a candidate seeking a challenging and rewarding role within a fantastic working environment
Working Hours - Mon – Thurs: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Fri: 8:30am – 3:00pm
