A Sales Administrator is required for our client in Cottenham. This is a pivotal role within a growing organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Director to support sales and marketing activity. They will generate enquiries and distribute information to other members of the sales and the operations teams. The role involves coordinating the tender prequalification process, producing well presented tender documents and following up tendered projects with the customer, to the point of order. The successful applicant should, ideally, possess customer care handling skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. They should be self-motivated and be able to work on their own initiative and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills. Knowledge of MS Office is essential.
Duties:
Maintain the project enquiry log –enter information and disseminate to the sales/estimating staff
Research information databases for relevant prospective projects and apply for tender documents
Follow up post tender with the clients to chase the order progress
Attend sales meetings for all divisions, report on progress on the pipeline of enquiries, report on marketing activity
Supply minutes for sales meetings
Receive customer enquiries by phone, e mail and letter
Complete pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) documentation and maintain information within data files
Ensure PQQ documents are delivered on time
Customer care –ensuring good communication with our customers and satisfaction with the company’s services
