Our Prestigious Client in Ely is looking for a Retail Manager ideally with a Gift shop background to take responsibility for the running of their outlets.
You will be passionate and thrive on driving turnover, managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
Sharing our passion for customer care and with an eye for maximising sales and profitability, the Retail Manager will enjoy full responsibility for stock levels, merchandising and presenting the shops to best effect. And as this company are actively developing its range of locally sourced produce, the range of goods on offer can reflect this wide seasonal variety. While taking responsibility for budgeting and reporting, our Manager will also lead and train their team to enjoy their work and develop their skills.
You’ll typically need retail management or supervisory experience, along with good merchandising and cost management skills as well as strong customer focus. Ideally you will be skilled at Profit and Loss accounting from a Gift background from an Estate House or similar.
Duties will include:
Working with the Marketing Manager, developing a stronger brand and brand awareness
Ensuring the shops are clean and tidy, fit for purpose and well stocked
Advising on stock and future development
Liaising with Accounts, IT and other departments
Salary £25,000-£30,000
