Pay and benefits for temps

Payment is made weekly via BACS transfer direct into your bank account. Timesheets must be signed by both candidate and client and submitted by email, fax or post no later than 5pm every Monday to ensure funds are paid the following Friday.

As a temp, you are taxable under the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) scheme and will need a National Insurance number to work as a temp. For further information go to www.directgov.co.uk

Under the Working Time Regulations, temporary workers are entitled to up to 24 days paid leave per annum. There are also conditional entitlements to sick pay when you are a temp. Please talk to your Temporaries Consultant, to find out more about this.
