Job Description:

Our client based in Haverhill is looking to recruit an Interim Operations Manager for an initial period of 6 months.

Duties will include:-

• To plan, develop and implement the strategy for a combined site operational process within agreed budgets and time scales.
• Areas of responsibility to include manufacturing, assembly, distribution, purchasing and production planning.
• Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management and development.
• Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and time scales.
• Manage and develop direct reporting staff
• Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
• Ensure operational policies effectively deliver the sales requirements.
• Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance of the company
• Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.

An experienced Manager who can demonstrate achievements within change management, leadership and staff development, you will have outstanding communication skills and a strategic/innovative approach to work.

This role will be based in the Haverhill office but will require frequent visits to another site so willingness to travel is required.
