A varied role where you will assist the Buyer in all purchasing activities.
Duties will include:-
- Assisting the Buyer by obtaining the correct materials or services at the lowest cost ensuring that it is at the appropriate quality level and by the required delivery date
- Involvement in cost reduction exercises
- Expedite orders and liaise with suppliers
- Assist in obtaining quotes and pricing from suppliers
- Produce reports and information relating to suppliers
- Maintain the purchasing database
- Assist with invoice queries
- Complete general administration
A fantastic opportunity for someone who has good administration skills and ideally experience of working within a purchasing or buying department previously.
Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00
